Former midfielder Tim Sherwood has hailed Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson ability but admits he sometimes struggles to understand the missed chances he makes.
Jackson scored again in the Blues’ 2-1 home win at Brentford on Sunday, with Sherwood praising his ability to get in and out of the net despite not being easy to score, but also wondering how he missed easier chances.
“It’s not just today, I think it’s happened throughout the season, since I saw Nicolas Jackson, he’s so unpredictable. Sometimes he looks like a Soccer Aid player who’s not a footballer.”
“Look at this one (Jackson’s missed 6-yard shot). It looks like a rapper or an actor or something trying to play football, but then he shows up. He’s a huge threat because he’s trying to run through the defense. He doesn’t care if he misses the chance because he doesn’t know if the chance is coming.”
“But now he showed something (the goal) that is UFABET impossible to prevent. You cannot prevent it. As soon as the ball went out, Caicedo was excellent and Enzo gave him the ball. When he was in this position, not everyone can do it (go through to score), he has the talent to do it.”
“It’s incredible that he scores the hardest goal and misses the easiest chance, but you have to have a big personality to do that because he always has to find his chances.”
