AC Milan coach Paulo Fonseca said the team did everything right but lacked quality in the final third after they were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Genoa in Serie A on Sunday.

The Red and Blacks’ special night to celebrate the club’s 125th anniversary ended in a scoreless draw with Genoa. Throughout the game, the players were determined, but ultimately failed to score, and there were boos from the fans when the final whistle blew.
“We played well, created a lot of chances, the players were hungry to win and play as a team, but the only thing we were missing was a goal,” Fonseca told DAZN after the game.
“We spent a lot of time in the opponent’s box but lacked quality in the final third. Overall it was a good attitude, aggression, quick wins back. I think we had 22 shots but none of them went in.”
“Today we saw the right level โปรโมชั่น ufabet of determination. We wanted to win the game. We were aggressive without the ball and got into the box a lot. It wasn’t about confidence, it was about the last ball and the quality that was missing. That’s the only thing we lacked today.”
